KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.

It happens all over the Valley. Kids of all ages gather in a state-of-the-art sports facility to participate in favorite activities that range from basketball and gymnastics to swimming and yoga. So what’s different about the scenario at this Phoenix facility? All of the athletes have disabilities.

British Cyclist Christopher Day Completes Trans-USA Bicycle Ride to support KEEN Oxford.
On March 6th, Christopher Day, uncle of a 12 year old KEEN Oxford athlete, began an amazing trek across the USA. He arrived at JFK airport a few days earlier, and met KEEN New York's Executive Director, Maggie Harrison. He then departed for his launch city, San Diego, California, where he purchased the bicycle he named "Old Bessie," which would be his constant companion for the next 79 days and 3323.9 miles.
