KEEN’s Mission
Empower youth with disabilities by providing free, non-competitive one-to-one programs of exercise, fitness and fun, led by volunteer coaches.

KEEN’s Vision
Foster confidence, self-esteem and community inclusion for youth with disabilities; strengthen communities through education of volunteers; and provide families with respite and a supportive network.

KEEN is currently enrolling NEW athletes and NEW volunteers!

Do you have a special talent/interest such as yoga, gymnastics, music, and art that you would be willing to share with others? KEEN Phoenix is looking for volunteers to share their talents with an amazing group of athletes.

KEEN USA hosted a National Symposium in Washington, DC on the need for fitness programs for kids with disabilities in light of the childhood obesity epidemic. Representatives from NCHPAD, The YMCA, Special Olympics, SHAPE America, Playworks, and other organizations came together to discuss access and barriers to programming, best practices for providing programs, outcomes measurement and other issues on this critical topic.
