Stephen Lynch, MD

Dr. Lynch has over 20 years experience in medicine and currently serves as Vice Chief of Staff at CTCA- Phoenix.   He earned his undergraduate Biology degree from Wilkes University in 1994.  This was immediately followed by medical school at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA and Family medicine residency at Virtua Health System in New Jersey where he also served as Chief Resident.
Over his professional career, he has served in a variety of clinical models.  From a teaching standpoint, he has lectured and taught as part of his adjunct faculty positions at the University of Miami School of Medicine and East Carolina-Brody School of Medicine.  Since moving to Arizona in 2015, he has had the opportunity to speak around the country at clinical education events.  As part of that career timeline, he has also served in various leadership positions.  Ultimately, however, his roots and desires remain grounded in spending time caring for patients.
His interests in KEEN are multifaceted but were certainly inspired by his own daughter, Madeleine.  As Madeleine recovered from significant complications of congenital heart disease, he took a several year sabbatical from work to help her pursue recovery.  With that personal background, he was intrigued not only by the KEEN mission but also by the individuals who work diligently to ensure all children have an equal opportunity for organized fun.
Dr. Lynch is married to his high school sweetheart, Dr. Cynthia Lynch.  They’ve been blessed with four incredible children including the aforementioned KEEN participant!  Outside of work, their free time naturally involves a busy household and they are also actively involved in the leadership team and education team at their church.
