 KEEN is a national, nonprofit volunteer-led organization that provides one-to-one recreational opportunities for children and young adults with mental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families and caregivers. KEEN's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence, skills and talents of its athletes through non-competitive activities, allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals.
 KEEN Phoenix is growing, but we are still looking for athletes and volunteers! Spaces are limited, so sign up today! KEEN Phoenix sessions will be held at: Boys and Girls Club Harry and Sandy Rosenzweig Branch 2242 W Missouri Ave Phoenix, AZ 85015 KEEN is a wonderful organization that has 8 affiliates across the country. In order to provide more services we need volunteers and we need your support. If you'd like to volunteer click on the affiliates link on the left side of the page to see if we are in your area. If you are a parent who would like more information about our programs click on the left side of the page to see if we are in your area. If you'd like to make a donation click on donate at the top right of the page. It costs KEEN, on average, $150 a year for an athlete to participate in KEEN Sports. Consider sponsoring an athlete with your donation. Due to the increased health expenses experienced by every family with a child with disabilities, KEEN is committed to offering all of our sports and recreation programs at no charge to our athletes. Neither income nor the severity of a child's disability is a barrier to joining a KEEN program. KEEN USA and Boundless Playgrounds received a $100,000 grant from CIGNA to build an accessible playground in Phoenix, AZ and expand KEEN services in the city of Phoenix.
