In other cities where KEEN programs have a longer history, affiliates have an impressive record of receiving awards and grants from their local communities. As KEEN Phoenix develops, we hope to achieve a level of recognition similar to that of our sister affiliate in Washington, DC. Highlights of their awards and grants are below:

Awards and Grants

KEEN USA is happy to announce that it has received an $11,000 grant from the Daniels Fund in support of our affiliate expansion. The Daniels Fund operates the Daniels Fund Scholarship Program and the Daniels Fund Grants Program. The Fund was established in 1997 by Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television know for his kindness and generosity to those in need.

We are grateful to the Daniels Fund for their support of KEEN programs!

KEEN was selected for inclusion in the 2005 Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington as one of the small charities "making a difference" in the DC area. Donate through the Catalogue.

CURE AUTISM NOW, for the second consecutive year, has donated 10% of the registration proceeds from its July 4th 5K in Potomac, MD to KEEN Greater DC.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, Washingtonian Magazine name KEEN Greater DC as one of the "40 organizations [that] strengthen the bodies and spirits of young Washingtonians."
